Recent changes

Budget 2026 announced EDGE as the merger of EDG, MRA and PSG. It launched on 30 Sep 2026, and EDG, MRA and PSG stopped taking applications on 29 Sep 2026. EDGE is open to non-SMEs. There is one annual cap of S$100,000 per company that resets on 1 April, with a S$30,000 sub-cap for digital solutions, enterprise systems and pre-scoped equipment. Funding received under the old schemes does not count toward the EDGE cap. EDGE cannot be paired with the SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit (SFEC).

Who is eligible

  • Registered and operating in Singapore
  • At least 30% local shareholding
  • Business entity registered and operating in Singapore
  • At least 30% of the company is owned, directly or indirectly, by Singaporeans and/or Singapore PRs (based on ultimate individual ownership)
  • Open to SMEs and non-SMEs. An SME has group annual sales of up to S$100m OR up to 200 workers, and this decides the support rate
  • Excluded: non-profits, societies, religious bodies, VWOs, statutory boards and government subsidiaries
  • No work started, no payment or deposit made and no contract signed with a supplier before you apply. Retrospective applications are not supported
  • No earlier grant application for the same project. A project already supported under EDG, MRA or PSG cannot be funded again under EDGE
  • Some activities have extra conditions, for example a pre-approved vendor, an SS 680-certified consultant, or no home-based businesses for digital solutions
